Narwhal Lo

Overview

If there is snow or mud on the trail, either turn around or stay on the trail. Keep it single.

Description

This is a a fun trail to ride from mid-summer to fall with great alpine views at the top. To get to the TH, turn on the Ophir Pass Road, cross the creek and park, or to get closer take a right on FS Rd 820, or ride the Rainbow Trail from Silverton.

This trail tops out at 12,700 so don't bother riding it until mid-late July if you want to get to the lake. Be prepared for afternoon lightning and rain/snow.
