Description

The Centennial Trail #669 begins at the intersection of W. Midland and Walnut. Parking is allowed in marked areas. Maps of Centennial Trail are available at the Manitou Springs Visitor’s Center at 354 Manitou Avenue, Manitou Springs, CO., (719) 685-5089.

The first two miles of the Centennial Trail runs through north Woodland Park along Highway 67 before leaving the town. Mountain meadows full of wildflowers and pine forests are beautiful in the spring, summer and fall. The trail gently descends for the next four miles.

At mile 6.2, the trail crosses under Highway 67 to the west side. Various campgrounds are near the trail. Views of Trout Creek are seen from this side of the trail as well.

At mile 8.5, the trail ends at Manitou Lake Picnic Area. There is a fee for parking at this end. The Manitou Lake Trail #670 can be ridden at the end as well.
