“This trail starts at the west end of Lakeside Drive and follows the shore of Red Cedar Lake to an existing doubletrack.”
— Neil Angotta
Hiking and biking only.
Once the trail starts off of Lakeside Drive after 500 feet, there is a wet and sometimes muddy section. When wet, the water can be up to 12" deep and the rocks are slippery, so watch your step.
The trail zigzags through dense mountain laurel and climbs for a brief time away from the lake. The trail descends again and follows near the shoreline of Red Cedar Lake. There is a short root section that can be difficult when wet. The trail has been widened over the years by ATV use.
