Description

Loop 3 starts out meandering alongside Denton Creek. It works its way inland and around to the "Boardwalk". The Boardwalk is a raised surface to make a passage over wetland. Then you wind your way to the "Angry Beaver" tree, once you see it you'll know how it got its name.

From here, you go to a rock garden that ends with two rock steps (uphill). Now you can continue to Loop 4 or take the bypass to inbound Loop 3 to return to the trailhead.

Loop 3 inbound starts out with quick drop then three technical uphill switchbacks, it's known as "Gator Tail". From there, you make your way through roots, rocks and tree gates. "Rabid Squirrel" is where you come out and enter the flatland. You'll find some technical trail features in the middle of Loop 3 inbound and then connect to Loop 2 inbound.
