Fresh off of climbing up the tailings from Orange Trail, most riders like to stop and enjoy the view of Lake Dardanelle. The Green Trail starts at this perfect rest stop and then drops the riders into one of the best features of the entire ride. Known to many as "the Dragon's Back" - riders mount a long, narrow strand of singletrack that can leave some beginner riders a little spooked.
With steep falls to either side, the narrow trail flows like the rollercoaster before dropping riders out onto a trail that runs along the lake. Look for features like "the diving board" and scenic spots to grab a photo of you and your bike before working your way to Yellow Trail and the climb back out to the start.
