Description

The East Loop singletrack (>8 mi. white loop) starts at the kiosk and runs across the first water crossing. From there, you have a good trail working around a mountain down towards a creek. Taking switchbacks up to another area of long flowy singletrack.
Moving your way towards the top of the park, you'll ride rock features before heading down to the second water crossing. From there, continue on the short spurt up towards the softball fields to a ride-over bridge. At this point, you can turn and head up the West Loop completing a 14+ mile loop.
Overall, the East Loop is a intermediate trail with a high cardio workout.

This area hosts two races: VA State Mtn Bike Championship on May 21, 2017 and Shiner's Revenge on Aug. 20, 2017
