Description

An entertaining climb/descent with great views of the South Cañon area and the Grape Creek Valley. This one connects Temple Canyon Road (via BLM 6181) and Hard Time. The higher end on the north-facing slope will keep snow longer than most trails in the area - consider riding from the bottom up to the mid-point saddle when there is snow.

I pedaled up to this via temple canyon rd. that's just how I like to roll. It was a mostly smooth flowy trail with short punchy climbs after the starting climb(is brief). its a great start to any combo of trails below. One thing though is the entrance is set back from the road. It looks like a 4x4 trail at a glance but has the MTB icon along with many other familiar trail access icons. Feb 20, 2017
Very fun downhill ride, links too hard time for an awesome flowing ride, the bottom of hard time is steep and rocky and a blast! I shuttled to the top of great escape and rode all the way home in downtown canon city. The girlfriend was not to amused to wake up to me asking for a ride up the canyon to retrieve my Jeep.
