Family Friendly Although the switchbacks can be tough, they are listed as a 'Walk Your Bike' area.

Description

The Medina River Greenway is one of the more challenging greenways in San Antonio based solely on the multiple tight switchbacks that need to be navigated as you both descend and ascend them. All the switchbacks are posted as "Walk Your Bike". However, there is not enough traffic on the trail at this time to make enforcement worthwhile for the trail stewards, so ride at your own risk.
