The Hanging Rock Trail is the main loop in the Hanging Rock Trail system. The area boasts 24 miles of multi-use trails.
The loop can be ridden in either direction. The trail itself is a never-ending series of ups, downs, twists and turns. There are a handful of really steep sections with other punchy climbs and descents mixed in.
The area was once a mining landscape which is why you'll see plenty of ponds scattered throughout.
This area is open to motorized and equestrian users - beware of others on the trail.
