Overview

Description [Suggest Changes]

The Wambaw Cycle Trail is a figure-eight loop on a wide singletrack. The tread is mostly sandy and winds through fragrant pine forest mixed with scenic hardwoods.

The route is not a particularly challenging experience, making it possible to be immersed in the beautiful surrounding forest. Along the way, riders can glimpse vernal ponds with bald cypress in addition to wildlife like turkeys and white-tailed deer.

This is a motorcycle and atv trail. Very sandy and bicycles are prohibited from the trail system. Bicycles can access the Palmetto Trail about 8 miles south of here at the Halfway Creek Road camp site. Apr 2, 2018
