A great singletrack that dries quickly after rain!

Family Friendly There are some advanced sections but you can walk them. The trail is pretty smooth and rolls well. Lots of climbs but most 10+ years old will be able to make them.

The trail dries very quickly and can be ridden usually, within 24 hours after a rain.

Description

The OC MTB Trails, as in Oyster Creek, offer five full miles of singletrack with lots of climbs and descents. It takes about 28 to 35 mins to complete the five miles. This is an ever-expanding trail, so check the Sugar Land MTB Facebook page for updates.

To get to the start, park at the Fort Bend Family YMCA and cross over the Cartwright bridge to get to the east side of Oyster Creek, and then get to the north side of Cartwright and you'll find the trail. The trail travels north and south on the east side of Oyster Creek.

Quail Valley to OC and back...trail wearing in very nicely! Enjoying the convenience of the trail, no more dodging angry walkers on paved OC trails 10.4mi — 0h 55m
