Description
This is a great trail that joins two other trails in the Kisatchie National Forrest. It's a 9-mile loop around the recreational area at Kincaid Lake. The trail is great for beginners since it has minimal climbs and flows really nicely. You'll border the lake pretty much the entire time and it provides great views.
The trail begins at the Kincaid Recreation Area entrance. There is parking at the two main trailheads, or you can go further into the campgrounds and have access to the restrooms and enter the trail from one of many trailheads.
At any intersection, the key is to keep right or you'll find yourself exiting the trail into the camping area.
