While it's relatively straight for Banner standards, Dr. John will certainly not disappoint.

Family Friendly Dr. John is a great option for families with children. The trail is plenty easy for young children, and the tight twists and turns through the middle section will help them build their skills.

Description

Whether you're heading out from the parking lot for an after-work ride or coming back to your car after a few weekend laps, Dr. John is always something to look forward to.

Starting at the main parking area, Dr. John is a faint trail off to the left of the trail kiosk, near the south end of the parking lot. Once on the trail, it begins with a nice warm-up section comprised of smooth dirt and a moderately wide skinny. After passing junctions with a small connector and K2, Dr. John begins a slower-speed section complete with tight, twisty turns through a dense evergreen forest rife with salal and other shrubby undergrowth. Eventually, the trail ends in a junction with Banner Alley.
