Can't decide between 3 Stage and Kolapore? Don't!

Overview

This is a diabolical plan for a long day on the bike. It combines the top highlights from the 3 Stage and Kolapore riding areas into one giant loop that can be ridden self-supported.

You'll need a lot daylight or some headlights for this one...and the MTB Project mobile app!

Need to Know

This is a very demanding route with no support nearby. Bring tools, food, water and a back-up plan.

Description

To start this loop, park at the Lower Snowmobiler's Parking Lot off Pretty River Rd. Head up the main 3-stage climb, do a quick tour in the network and then roll across the county via concession road, picking off a section of the Bruce Trail on the way to Kolapore. Once in Kolapore, this trip runs around the perimeter of the park hitting all the best sections in the best direction.

You'll finally exit out the "West Skier's Parking". (This is the best place for a food/water drop if you're doing this self-supported; this is about the 1/2-way point in terms of time.) It's not over yet. Not nearly. Fuel up and resume the insanity.

You roll back to 3 Stage, entering through an obscure Snowmobile Trail which will bring you back into the network. At this point, it's a full tour through the techiest, gnarliest trails, finally descending the Old Bruce and back to the start point where you'll collapse at your vehicle.
