This dirt road is the main trail in Hays Woods, cutting through the whole park.

The trail is always wide, but there are a couple of steep sections with some erosion that makes traveling difficult.

There are amazing view of Pittsburgh and the Monongahela River.

This trail connects to the nice Powerline Loop.

It's impressive how much this area feels far from civilization, even if it's right next to the city. Also, the Hays Woods area is a nesting site for bald eagles, be respectful.
