Description

This singletrack-coaster takes riders for a romp through the woods. Although the trail has lots of flow, you'll still have to take an active roll on the dips, berms, and turns. And that's great!

Starting off of the Downhell Trail, The Hood soon has riders bobbing-and-weaving through turns and around trees. The trail is quite fun to just roll through, but if you want to unlock some speed, you'll have to handle your bike well.

Root and rocks are minimal, except for the occasional slightly suspect rock booter. This fun descent feeds into a series of tight switchbacks that allow for a touch of a wall-ride.

From here, the trail gently climbs for a ways before returning to the descending. This section is a bit rougher and has a few punchy, descending turns. The fun keeps rolling through swooping berms just before the infrequently used The Hood Connector leaves to the right. The rest of the trail is an easy and level pedal to Service Road 1000.
