Description

A little erosional drop awaits just inside the woods; spot your landing before hucking off into the unknown. Shortly after entering the trail, there will be an option to take the right fork to Loop De Loop.

Take the right fork for more beginner-friendly, twisty fun. Munnerlyn can challenge beginners with a couple of the gully crossings on this section, but there is enough trail to ride to make it worth walking any technical gully crossing that one may not be comfortable with.

Intermediate and up riders will welcome the challenges presented by plenty of bigger (for this trail system) gully crossings on Munnerlyn; some allow railing the wall to smooth the drop in. Watch out for wet board bridges in a couple areas. A couple of deep sand sections with turns will test your ability to find traction and maintain forward momentum.

A drop into a left turn next to a creek offers a challenging climb out near the end of the section. This may feel like a pretty long loop at nearly two miles long, but there is an opportunity to bail out to Peaceful Woods and up on the dam to head back to the parking area if beginners are burnt out or the heat is too much.

If you're trying to bail, make your way toward the levee. There used to be switchbacks to get yourself back up... this is looking at those.
