Overview
This is a nice short loop ride along sections of the
Cresheim Trail. There are a few obstacles some of which are optional. Way finding here can be a little tricky, make sure you stay alert and have the
MTB Project mobile app with you.
Description
From the parking area on the west side of Cresheim Valley Drive, head south along
Cresheim Trail South for almost 0.5 mile. Take a right, (this intersection can be a bit subtle) to head over the bridge crossing the creek and make a sharp left to ride
Cresheim Trail North along the north side Cresheim Creek. With exception of dismounting while crossing under Mcallum St. bridge, the ride along Cresheim Creek is smooth, flowy, and mostly downhill.
Bear left at the very bottom of trail onto
White Trail and cross the creek. Make a sharp, almost U-turn, left onto
Cresheim Trail South and climb. Near the top of the hill, don't go straight (It's tempting, but bikes are prohibited)! Take the switchback to the right and continue climbing a bit.
Be on the lookout for the continuation of
Cresheim Trail South, it is unmarked and will be on your left. There is a telephone poll with one solar panel on it that can be used as a landmark. Follow the trail along the south side of Cresheim Creek back to the parking lot.
