This road can be accessed from the same parking area as the Tres Lomitas featured ride. You follow the same route (Stirrup Rd SE (B023)) on the paved road until reaching Pampas Rd. Turn left (north) onto this road and simply follow it until it transitions into the road up the Little Florida Mountains.

As the road becomes steeper, it will become very slick and rocky and you can expect several hike-a-bike areas as you make your way to the top of the mountains. Once on top, the road continues past several radio tower posts and you can stop at several areas along the way to enjoy wonderful vistas of the terrain below. You also get nice views of Rock Hound State Park as it sits along the western base of the mountains.
