Description

To access the trailhead, perpendicular to Highway D across from Townline Road, there is a sign you drive under to get to the resort. It says "Alpine Valley" in big red letters; it's impossible to miss. Follow this road until you see a blue sign that says "Mountain Bike Trail."

The sign points to a gravel maintenance road to the left. Follow this road. Don't be alarmed, you'll pass many maintenance shops and ski equipment before you reach the trailhead. This road ends in a large gravel lot with a few buildings. To the left of the buildings, there should be a self-pay station for trail passes. This is the area to park. The singletrack starts next to the self-pay station.

The first mile of the trail is primarily uphill. When you get to the top, miles of punchy climbs and fast descents await.

Fun ride. Reminds you of trails in the mountains the way the trail cuts across the hill during the climb. Very friendly people out on the trails.
