This trail has plenty of bends and tight turns with some steep spots and a creek crossing.

Description

The best was to access this trail is by taking the Main Loop to the east from the parking area. Parts of this section are steep with some tight turns. The creek crossing can be a little tricky if the water is high from lots of rain but it is usually not bad at all. It has a nice, flat rock base and a pretty good entry and exit dug into the banks that are not very steep. It gets used enough so that the rocks are not slick.

The climb is not too bad once you get past the switchback. After it flattens out, there is a tricky valley that is steep and full of roots on the climbing side. There is an off-shoot that will go left shortly after the valley, if you take it you'll bypass a hill climb.

I would suggest you go right and when you hit the doubletrack you can choose to go down it or basically go straight across for a nice and much more interesting descending ride.
