Description

This trail is similar to Mike's Night Out in that it requires a long trek to reach. Use either section of Firebox to reach the start of Dead Cow, as they're both fun.

At the turn off, the trail is entirely singletrack and within the trees. It is pretty steep but not quite the brake-burner that is Mike's Night Out.

The trail is pretty consistently challenging with rocks and roots but nothing that is unmanageable for the majority of riders doing this longer ride. There are a few creek crossings with steeper banks that can provide a challenge.

Finally, the trail connects to Spring Creek Road and is best taken to the left. Following a short climb, you can reach Scratch and Abrams Ridge for a ride down.

Not a fun climb. Oops. Supposed to be non-motorized, but dirt bikes are clearly ripping up the trail and adding alternative lines.
