A heck of a climb. But hey, it gets you off the road.

Description

This tough trail is primarily used as a climb from Y-Junction (where there is abundant parking) to the small parking lot and trailheads of Hawleys Gulch (Top) / Buckskin Morgan Ridge. If the upper parking areas fill up, you can take this trail instead of the road to reach some of the more popular singletrack options in the area.

On the way up. The steepest section in my opinion is the quick, initial climb at the beginning.
