Babbish Gulch is the main trail up the Babbish Gulch drainage. It starts at the intersection with
Old Four Mile Road near the Sunlight Backcountry Cabin. The first 1/4 mile is a little rough. You may want to consider using
Williams Trail to access the main portion of Babbish Gulch.
The middle section is nice, singletrack riding. Beyond the junction with
Upper Dipsy Doodle, the trail becomes less distinct and gets steeper. It eventually ends intersects with the
Ute Service Road which you can continue to follow up to the top of Sunlight Mountain Resort.
The riding is nice when dry. The trails don't handle wet conditions well. Sunlight Stables runs trail rides in the area so keep an eye out for horses.
