Description

This trail provides a long enjoyable drop through the beautiful forests of Basalt Mountain. This is mostly classic singletrack, with rocks and overgrown vegetation providing challenge and surprise.

While the trail isn't so steep as to be unrideable uphill (northwest to southeast), most will ride the trail as part the Basalt Mt. Big Loop via Basalt Mt. Road (Forest Route 524), Basalt Mountain Trail, this trail, then finishing with the Upper Cattle Creek Rd. (Forest Route 509).

Or use to access to/from the Red Table Trail.
