The Blue Mountain OHV Trail (#O-1972) is the longest OHV trail in the National Forest. The trail begins at the Elk Creek Campground along the South Fork of the Burnt River and ends near the Blue Springs Summit Sno-Park between Sumpter and Granite, Oregon.
This 50.6 mile long trail goes through open ponderosa pine and fir forests, across sagebrush grasslands, and small streams.
