In spite of the name, this is a fun extension to the XC loop that is more tech than flow.

Description [Suggest Changes]

'Big Berms' is named after a trail builder's desire to berm all corners. In spite of the name, most of the loop is technical rather than flow.

From the windmill spur of the Socorro singletrack, it winds south to a poorly maintained two-track trail which it uses to cross the saddle back east.

From there, a singletrack trail climbs the mesa and descends the eastern slope. The corners along the eastern slope have small berms.

Overall, this is mostly an intermediate XC loop, but the north-south section is difficult and includes a major rock feature to cross the arroyo.
