Brown Canyon Trail leads into a scenic little canyon with good views and high desert vegetation consisting of grass, oak, and manzanita.

From the Brown Canyon ranch house, the first three-fourths of this trail have short, technical sections between stretches of flowing singletrack. The last fourth of the trail is technically called a rock garden. Beware of the Tombstone water pipeline. The Tombstone water pipeline crosses this trail in several places and each crossing is not at the desired right angle to the trail.
