Description
You can access this ride at Recreatieplas, The Kibbelkoele, Middelseweg (N376), North Sleen.
Soon after the start, this ride puts your skills to the test on a winding singletrack with short tandem hills. The elevation changes are caused by shifting sand blown up from the period when the area was still heath.
Through a lot of work, the local mountain bike club, the Bush Bikers, built these trails to optimally use the terrain. There are a number of new singletrack trails built in the area.
The route runs mostly along the edge of the forest. After a few kilometers, you find a mogul piste. In the further part of the route, a little more height is incorporated. Several drainage channels are used in order to get some more height differences in the route.
The route consists of a wide variety of paths where you can catch your breath and fun, technical singletrack. You'll have the opportunity to look out over the wide
Drenthe land next to you.
At the end of the route, you'll pass the swimming pool Kibbelkoele. Again, this ride features technical singletrack trails with many twists and turns where you can enjoy small, steep ascents and descents.
The trail is being supported (and used mostly) by the local mountain bike club "De Bushbikers".
