This is an uphill traffic only trail. It will connect you from the the Gibbs Loop to the BST. The trail builders put in obstacles to discourage downhill use.

Be prepared to jump off your bike on one of this trail's steep switchbacks.

I ride this trail pretty regularly and like it a lot. It's a good workout and once you hit the BST it's a fun ride north or south. There's one switchback about halfway up that gets me every time and some exposed small tree stumps, but other than that it's not technically all that difficult. The last pitch to the BST is steeper than you think and always catches me by surprise. Sep 7, 2016

Hi, I designed and built (with lots of help) this trail. Glad you noticed the obstacles to discourage downhill traffic: low hanging limbs, roots, and the tight switchback. Cheers! May 4, 2017
