Description

This state-park-built hiking trail allows mountain bike access as well. Though it doesn't climb much overall, there are a few steep pitches that can be a challenge, as well as some roots, off-camber sections, and bridge crossings. Parts of the trail can be wet and/or muddy during rainy weather.

The trail is unique in that it offers stunning lake views. Because it is also popular with pedestrians, it's important to be on the lookout for other park guests who may be moving at slower speeds.

Mountain bikers can make a short loop by connecting State Route 278, Habron Hollow Trail and Hope Furnace Trail.
