Description

This rugged, intermediate trail stretches between Dza Beet and the intersection with Der We Went and Stairway to Heaven on hard-pack with some exposed bedrock. The trail is best ridden downhill from intersection #14 at the end of Dza Beet.

If you start at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, at the top of the southern ridge of the trail system, you can have an uninterrupted downhill ride all the way back to the Copper Harbor Loop and end up at TrailHead #1 in town.

This trail continues down the edge of the ridge, with many short and winding switchbacks. This is always a favorite in the Bell's Beer Copper Harbor Trails Festival Bike Race on Labor Day weekend.
