Description

This race is held in the Rock Creek OHV area run by State Parks. There are a number of trails in the area, and the full course mixes in several sections of trails.

Warm Up Transfer: From Bald Mtn Staging Area, take Trail 1 to the intersection of Trail 4-1
Stage 1: Trail 4-1, left on Trail 4 to the creek crossing.

Mega Transfer: Take Trail 4 and turn right on 12N72 to Trail 1. Stay on Trail 1 to the top of Mount Ballarat. This is a very punishing climb and/or hike-a-bike.

Stage 2: From the top of Mount Ballarat, take Trail 1 down all the way to Rock Creek crossing. This stage begins very steep, loose and rocky, but wide with many line choices. The middle of this stage is a short recovery cruise/pedal on a fire road. Then, continue down the "Deep Water Descent", a pretty steep singletrack.

Cool Down Transfer: From Finish 2, racers will ride up Trail 1 to 12N81 and remain on this fire road to shuttle pick up on Darling Ridge Road.
