Description

The Middle Fork of Little Timber Creek provides a challenging alternative to Big Timber Creek in accessing the heart of the Lemhi Mountains.

The trail was once used by, but is now closed to, ATVs. It is healing and turning back to singletrack.

As a climb, it is a steep slog through the woods until you get higher in elevation. Mostly rideable for the best climbers but expect plenty of hike-a-bike.

As a descent, however, it is fast and challenging and a bit rowdy at times. In either case, this is a tough trail through some beautiful country.
