Getting forecast...

This trail is a beginner-friendly, tight and twisty loop, that requires technical skill to go fast.

Chris Patterson

Overview

Closed when underwater.
Family Friendly: Park nearby, small loops are kid-capable.

Description

This trail runs along the river and, unfortunately, goes underwater when the Ouachita River rises above 26'. When dry, however, this can be a fun and fast course that is perfect for a lunchtime or post-work ride. Local riders also enjoy weekly night rides, usually on Wednesday nights round 6pm during the winter months. Bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are mean.

Finally re-opened for riding in 2016 - another extensive cleaning/clearing effort by the trail team to recover after the flooding. Still a little grooming to do - but it's been raining all week, so no progress. Aug 14, 2016
