A quiet, shaded, and flat dirt road, which is a nice add-on to rides in Las Catalinas trail system.

Family Friendly Easy riding, wildlife sightings.

Description

This road offers a nice addition to other rides on the Las Catalinas trail system. It is a great place for sighting monkeys, especially in the morning. Also, it has near zero traffic. It's relaxing, beautiful Guancaste scenery features open fields and large trees.

The far western part of the route goes down to the Zapotal beach, which is big, wild, and has a very Jurassic Park feel to it. The Las Catalinas trails require lots of focus, and this road provides a great chance to relax and take in the nature.
