Family Friendly Located right at main trailhead. Out-and-back works well for kids and beginners. The first kilometer is fairly wide and easy, later trail is narrower with more side-slope.

Description

This trail begins at the main Las Catalinas system trailhead. The first kilometer is through the woods, with fairly gentle slopes and no particular difficulties. The trail breaks into the open with great views of the ocean, beach, and town and then heads back into the woods with some narrower trail and steeper side slope.
