To access this trail, use the parking area off of Craig Creek Road (FS 982). The top of the trail can be accessed by continuing along Craig Creek Road (FS 982) to the junction with Little Chestnut Mountain Road (FS 4099). Head right, entering through the Forest Service gate at the summit of Craig Creek Rd. Follow the road for about 2-2.5 miles, this singletrack trail will be to the right, heading up hill.

The trail starts has a fairly steep grade from top to bottom, flattening out in the final stretch to the parking lot with a number of technical sections in true Pisgah style. Please be aware of other trails users.

Enjoy awesome views and scenery on this ride – just stay alert on the descents, as they can get rocky and rooty.
