A fun singletrack trail just a few minutes south of Texarkana.

Kyle C.

Overview

Helmets required. Night rides are allowed. Use caution when crossing the road. If the trail is wet or damp, use caution on the bridge as they can be very slick.

Description

This is a fun and very well maintained singletrack trail that is popular with locals, but not well known outside of Texarkana.

Overall, the trail is not too technical, but there's a few steep and challenging switchbacks. The trail will test your braking and cornering skills if ridden at a fast pace.

It dries out very fast, so it's usually rideable when other trails in Texas and Arkansas are too muddy.

The trail is normally ridden clockwise, but feel free to ride either direction.

Great flow, good climbs, decent hardpack trails. Switchbacks cut nicely. It's worth the drive from Texarkana 6.5mi

Not a bad little trail, if you find yourself in the area. Very single speed friendly.

6+ mi according to mileage markers. Not a bad little trail if you find yourself in the area. More green than blue IMO, but a fun way to start my Tgiving day. Would be a hoot during seasons when the trail isn't covered in leaves! Nov 24, 2016
