Pay Attention to any Trail Closures. Parts of Mission Trails Regional Park are next to the MCAS Miramar Military Base. Take heed of the No Trespassing Signs!

Overview

One of the best Singletrack Rides in Mission Trails Regional Park. The ride starts with a fire-road climb (easy) then transitions into doubletrack before a fun, fast downhill to the start of E-Ticket. E-Ticket itself is fast, with some fun berms, and technical turns. Some parts of this ride are looped 2x. The ride ends with a very technical (and at times washed out) climb up. This mapped ride includes a short jaunt over to some small jumps before calling it a day. This ride is rated Intermediate/Difficult primarily due to the aggressive climb out of the trail.

Need to Know

Watch out for Rattlesnakes! Stay on marked trails and do not enter any areas that have posted trail closures. Parts of MCAS Miramar Base abut Mission Trails Regional Park so take heed. Soldiers actively patrol the area and will confiscate bikes from trespassers.

Description

Park at the end of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. Hop on the trail and cross the bridge. Fantastic trail and with offshoots, perfect for someone (like me) who want to up his game. Be ok with walking the bike if you are not at top of fitness. Great place to wind down after work! Sep 3, 2016
Rode the E ticket yesterday. It sucked. The trail is extremely rutted with tons of loose rock. The flow sections of the trail weren’t so flowing. On and off the bike... not my deal but maybe it’s yours? Mar 5, 2018

E ticket is getting a little rutted since the last time I rode it, but that expected from erosion and us blasting the hell out of it, at least people are picking up their trash! That would piss me off, when I saw trash and broken glass from idiots who don't care. The loop needs some tending, I have went out with a couple shovels to fill a few ruts and build some jumps, and a Land Management guy told me and my son not to dig, it was illegal to disturb the ground, really? What about ripping through on MTB? Thats not the same, well,,,,ok not that extreme but, sort of Jul 29, 2018
