Description

The majority of this trail is smooth hard-packed dirt. The ride starts off going uphill, but it's barely noticeable, except for the fact you can't figure out why you aren't going as fast as you think you should.

The trail winds through the desert and cactus. After 2 miles you'll cross over the Powerline Road. The singletrack continues on the other side of the road. There are a few other road crossings, and you follow a short section of the road for a short bit. There are no signs marking the trails, so stick close to the GPS route or use the MTB Project mobile app.

The high point on the loop is a windmill and after all the "climbing" that you did you are treated to a fast smooth downhill all the way back to Powerline Road where you started.

Do not go to the coordinates on this page- try to park in the neighborhood and ride in. The road is rough and there is barely parking.

Probably the best singletrack in the area. Smooth with little imbedded rock. Return downhillsection (CCW) is a little more technical but loads of fun
