Description

Part of the Allatoona Creek Mountain Bike Trails System, Hocus Pocus features primitively maintained trails with short, steep climbs, natural root and rock challenges (see pictures), and beautiful views of Allatoona Creek. Please be aware Hocus Pocus is a difficult trail in a remote section of the park. Come prepared to take care of yourself and know your skill and endurance limits. Round trip from the main parking lot is more than 10 miles. You must ride both Mumbo Jumbo and Voodoo to get to the Hocus Pocus Connector and Hocus Pocus Trailhead.

Those on foot should travel in the opposite direction of cyclists, and are asked to yield to cyclists using the trails. The trail direction changes daily so check the signs at the trailhead. The trail may close due to wet conditions.

Please check imba-westga.org for trail status.

Getting forecast...

I was very disappointed with this path cleared in the woods. Numerous areas appeared to be recently created by just removing the Duff and not creating a good tread area. Numerous areas are off camber making it hard too keep speed up, the small exposed roots was a not fun after a mile of the stuff. It was overall just a rough tread that needs finishing. Mar 5, 2017
