This trail can be easily accessed via the parking area at the city park and ridden to the Veterans Home Pasture for a steady but easy climb. Alternatively, it can be accessed at the Veterans Home for a steady descent.

This trail sees high use from hikers, walkers, joggers and people walking their dogs. If ridden as part of the entire clear creek trail experience, it will seem like a deceptively easy beginning to a network of trails that become progressively more technical.
