Overview

This loop makes for a pretty fun downhill with a few small hills, a couple of really rough rock gardens plus the added downhill of Earthquake Ridge. This section alone makes for a pretty long and exciting descent.

Description

This route hits every loop in the Earthquake Ridge System as well as adding the Blue Haze Trail to the Earthquake Ridge section of the Rich Mountain trail. When ridden in this direction, it makes for one very long and fun downhill on the west side of Hwy 8.

Just follow the map as shown when you get to the top of Earthquake Ridge Trail hang a right onto Hwy 8 and take it up to the first vista. You'll see a trail darting into the woods just across Hwy 8 from the first vista. This is the Rich Mountain Trail which I have not had the chance to ride all of yet.

Once on the Rich Mountain Trail, hang a left and follow it all the way back down to Earthquake Ridge Trail and then hang a right onto Earthquake Ridge Trail and continue on.

There are few rock gardens in there so stay alert for those.
