“Ties the north end of Champagne to the trails around Sugarloaf and provides a route back to Ryan.
— Karl Ingersoll
, this trail is narrow and curvy, with some short, steep climbs that are either great fun, because you approached them skillfully, or a good opportunity to take in the view as you hike-a-bike up. There are great views of Sugarloaf Peak to the southwest and the beautiful desert wilderness all around.
This trail is a convenient leg in a 10-15 mile loop from the north end of Champagne
. You can hook back up with Ryan's Trail
and head home, or angle west over to Sugarloaf and explore the trails around the peak.
