While only one or two minutes long, this small trail will test your skills with multiple line choices. The upper half is fast and rideable by any, but the bottom half will challenge any rider. This trail is unlike any others in the area as it burns its altitude quickly. In fact, Lower Dead Dog might be the only one-way trail in Lake Pueblo since it's just too steep for anyone to climb (save perhaps a good trials rider).

Be aware that like Rattlesnake, you'll cross Rollercoaster going from Upper Dog to Lower Dog. Also Upper Dog is used as a shortcut climb by riders and pedestrians. Still it has very low trail population and no one is on it long anyway. This is a good trail to rip...if you can?!
