“A tight and twisting loop with numerous optional advanced features.”
— LHORBA MTB
This loop weaves through the wooded area on the upper side of the Park in closely spaced multiple legs covering the east-west length of the Park. This trail contains armored stream crossings, smaller rock piles, and log crossings that we try to maintain to IMBA Intermediate standards, while leaving numerous bigger log piles and skinnies along the route as optional advanced features.
The trail can be accessed through the entrance across from the map kiosk. The trail can be muddy in places in the early spring or following rains. The more advanced rockier trails should be ridden instead during those periods.
With the close spacing of the legs, riders can easily jump from one leg to the adjacent one accidentally, so the trail is blazed blue in the clockwise direction and orange in the counterclockwise direction. Numerous bailout points and interconnections to adjacent trails are available.
