Description

This trail was built along the edge of the Gospel Hump during the Idaho Centennial. From the river, it starts as singletrack with loads of switchbacks and then a little ways up in turns into an ATV route that is well maintained.

This is one of the primary routes up from the Salmon River and has nice views into the Gospel Hump Wilderness. The trail starts right near the bridge across the Salmon River with a lot of switchbacks. These switchbacks can get loose late in the season if it has been a dry year, but a strong rider should be able to climb the majority of the turns with some pushing on some short sections.
