Overview

Family Friendly: Doubletrack/dirt access road runs parallel to the trails and is great for kids and beginners. Trails are clearly marked and easy to follow.

Description

Continuous loop approximately 6 miles of intermediate XC trails. If you include the expert bypass sections, it's closer to 7 miles. Plenty of parking at the trail entrance next to the ski rixen. Bike wash, vending machines and bathrooms. Bike rentals available on site at Bike America or across the street at Jims Bikes.
Night rides are the 3rd Wednesday of each month (usually) and start at 8:30 pm.
Trail maintenance is the 2nd Saturday and 4th Saturday of each month - 9:00 am -12:00 pm (ish).
Park entrance fee of $1.50 per person only applies on weekends and holidays. No park entrance fees on non-holiday weekdays.
Daily Trail Pass Fees: $5 for individuals, $10 for families of up to five.
Annual Membership Trail Pass Fees: $25 for individuals, $50 for families of up to five.
Trail Passes are valid at both Quiet Waters and Markham Park MTB Trails.
Mountain Bike Trail Daily Fee does not apply to individuals renting trail bikes from the County or from its approved vendor at Quiet Waters Park (Bike America).
Open year round except once or twice a year if there is an athalon using the trail.
Trails remain open, even in the rain. Wet/rain rides are not discouraged.
Trails are clearly marked and easy to follow. .

Muddy - A lot of the back part of the trail near the turnpike off-ramp was under water. Parts as deep as 2'+. About 75% of the trail us still good...
