A sandy ride through the majestic Pine Barrens of South Jersey

Adopt These Trails!

Overview

Dogs: Leashed

Description

Park in the woods just off Kettle Run near the intersection and head out with MTBProject and a full charge on your phone and maybe a backup battery too for this ride because you won't be happy if you get lost out here! There's alot of trail turn-offs everywhere and no trailmarkers. This ride does not have alot of climbing or descents but it is very challenging due to the deep sugar sand in spots for long stretches - be forewarned your quads are gonna burn!! Lots of fat tire riders out here and there's a dedicated weekly core of fat tire night riders that slog through this beautiful parcel of preserved Green Acres in the Pine Barrens...just beware -- Jersey Devil sightings have been reported out here so think twice about going it alone...

Great day for a ride, blue trail dried out more from previous day, still some large puddles, but passable on edges. Other trails in great shape! 12mi — 1h 20m
